    Monterey County offers ideal growing conditions for cool-climate grapes, where high winds, dry days and bay fogs lead to full, forward fruit flavors and ideal acidity.

    Brass Tacks Riesling offers crisp clean notes of fresh peach, honey and apricot with mineral qualities that is balanced by bright acidity. This Riesling offers an "off-dry", or slightly sweet, style that makes is a perfect companion for lighter fish dishes and Asian take-out.

    A pretty little dry California dry Riesling from Monterey. I am starting to really appreciate some California Rieslings these days. I am not sure if my palate is getting better or the wines are getting better. I love the nose on this wine - peach, apricot and minerality. Very crisp finish with that perfect light touch of sweetness. I enjoyed it with my sushit takeaway.

    Great nose like a fruit orchard: pear, peach, and honeysuckle. Good acidity to balance all that fruit. Nice mouthfeel. In all, a delicious wine that I enjoyed as an aperitif but would drink again with Asian food.
