    Varietal: Rhone Red Blends

    Style: Smooth & Supple

    Winemaker's Notes:

The color is a dark ruby red. There is a dominace of red berries with a combination of power and freshness that carries over onto the palate.

    Critical Acclaim:

This red shows the dark, ripe, lush fruit of the vintage, with fig, plum and blackberry aromas and flavors tumbling over a solid graphite underpinning. The long, velvety finish holds your interest.

the fruit aroma, lighter bodied than expected, smooth, with a lenghty finish. Rubbed Brisket was a bit much, will try with pasta next.

For the price, great stuff. Simple and drinkable. Relatively light body.

Everyone loved this wine after dinner and skiing. I may want to buy a case of this at this price. It has the taste of a much more expensive rhone wine.

This fresh, dry, and robustly-flavored red is appropriately tannic, resulting in a peppery finish that lingers on the tongue for a while. Intense taste of red fruits can come across as strong sometimes, so it should be paired with savory dishes like tomato-sauce pasta, red meats, and savory cheeses.
