The family vineyards are my father's legacy and I get so much joy from crafting wines from our Home Ranch. The 2007 Chardonnay has wonderful tropical and pear aromas with fresh pineapple and lemon with spice notes and a hint of Dry Creek minerality that lingers through the mouth and into a rich and refreshing finish.
Sleek, elegant and refined, offering a beam of lemon, citrus, spicy pear, honeysuckle and hazelnut fruit that's focused and pure, with a long, clean finish. Drink now through 2012. 2,657 cases made.
There’s something rustic and spicy and earthy about Dry Creek Chardonnays, but Ed Sbragia manages to lift this wine into opulence. It’s pretty oaky, yet the vanilla and honey flavors marry perfectly with the pineapple and pear fruit to produce a wine of great attraction.
Attractive deep gold hue. Ripe aromas of grilled pine- apple, peach and smoked ham. Flavors of dried apricot and vanilla with secondary oak elements. Supporting acidity joins lingering tropical fruit in the finish.
