    Winemaker's Notes:

Grapes from 3 different vineyards of the Elqui Valley were hand picked, de-stemmed and crushed separately. The winemaking was as the same as the Syrah and the Carmenere. After aging in barrels and stainless steel the wines have been blended just 3 months before bottling.

Bright and deep color. The wine shows a good fruit concentration and on the nose black pepper, red fruit, dark chocolate. Great body with soft tannins on the palate.

    Critical Acclaim:

The 2006 Syrah Reserva offers an enticing nose of smoke, game, and blueberry. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate, it has layers of spicy fruit, good ripeness, and excellent length. This crowd-pleaser will evolve for 1-2 years but can be enjoyed now. It is an outstanding value.

Let this breathe - I'm a true fan of big and bold. This delivered big time. This 2006 bottle was back ordered three weeks. Had I known it was this good, especially for $10.00, I regret not ordering more - now it's sold out.

I was really happy with this wine.--Even more happy when I found out I bought two bottles by mistake. Quite bold and fruity. An excellent wine for the price!

Big & bold. Huge hit for our holiday party. I am no expert but you can definitely taste the fruit with a nice layer of spice. I bet it just gets better over the next 12-24 months. However, can be enjoyed now. Great conversation wine or wind down wine.

This was the first time that even my unrefined palate could detect every nuance of flavor that the wine maker listed on the back of their bottle. Immediate notes of cedar and Earth upon opening the bottle. An underlying peppery tone complements the lovely deep berry flavors. A wonderfully complex and delicious bottle of wine for 10$. I will absolutely buy this again.

This wine has nice soft tannins and is ready to drink now. Not too fruity and overpowering.

I didn't like the musky overtone that tastes a bit like chemicals, which got a bit less pronounced as the drinking of progressed to a second and third glass. Other than that, it's has a rich, interesting, and complex body. Mixed darker berries and cherry in the taste. 88.
