    Winemaker's Notes:

Complex aromas of ripe cherries, violets and cedar are followed by flavors of perfectly ripe, firm black cherries and mixed red and black berries. Allspice and coffee notes complement a long, multi-faceted finish in this "True Sonoma Coast" Pinot Noir.

    Critical Acclaim:

A blend of various vineyards from the far or "true" Sonoma Coast, and also Hartford Court's highest-production Pinot Noir. Always beautiful and balanced, the ’07 in particular is remarkable for its silky tannins and overall seamless quality. Really excites for the complexity of currant, cola, licorice and cedar flavors. Now through 2013.

The brilliant 2007 Pinot Noir Land’s Edge Vineyard (a Sonoma Coast mountain site) also comes from Dijon clones, but it is a deeper, richer, full-bodied effort. Its dark ruby color is accompanied by a sweet, floral, raspberry, and black cherry-scented bouquet with the wood component pushed to the background. Broad, deep, rich, and impressively endowed, it should drink well for 5-8 years.

Bright red. Cherry-cola, raspberry and vanilla bean on the nose. Smoky dark berry flavors are enlivened by zesty minerals and pick up a candied floral quality with air. This packs a lot of flavor, but needs time to stretch out. Becomes deeper and chewier with air and finishes with solid grip and powerful thrust.

This wine was purchased as a gift. Unfortunately for the recipient, I opened it and loved it so they received something else! Wish there was more available.

An outstanding wine! Much more complex than most Pinots and pairs well with foods you would normally reach for a Cab. We have shared this with several friends, all who enjoyed it and were pleasantly surprised by the price. We have ordered more as the first case is gone.

Love this Pinot, generally a fan of Hartford Court. Very well-balanced Pinot. This is the definition of a Sonoma Pinot.

I served this baby up with a pot roat dinner made by my mother inlaw. The wine had a magnificent bouquet of cherry, chocolate, and hints of campfire. With lightly developed tanins, this is a medium bodied, and an incredibly smooth finishing vintage. I only wish I could have cellarded it for a few years, but it was well enjoyed.

This is an excellent Pinot Noir. I believe this vintage to be underrated. At this price, it is well worth it to purchase a case, perhaps more. The wine initially presents with ruby and rose hughes. The aromas are light and fresh with hints of fresh peaches, plums, blueberries, raisins, strawberries and baby's breath. The delicate flavors of this vintage are elegant yet, complex with notes of blueberries, fresh spring rain, plums, pears, birch and soft spices. The remarkable finish is smooth and long lasting that carries its fruit flavors incredibly well. A superbly crafted wine that is well balanced. Drink now through 2015. 97 pts.

Rich, full wine, lovely red color. Cherry and cedar notes. A bit hot, alcohol-y finish but I did not decant. Many reviews say to decant this wine and let breathe for an hour before drinking. I would buy again.

Similar to the St. Innocent Freedom Hill, at a similar price (with the discount). Both very nice $40 pinots.

Bold for a pinot. Black cherry, berries, little spicy, little sweet but not too much, taste some alcohol burn when it warms up gets more noticeable. Great when decanted for an hour or so, much more than that the burn kicks in. Overall good but There are better options in this price range.
