    Winemaker's Notes:

One hundred percent Tempranillo from the Pesquera clones planted in 1998. Purity of fruit accompanies concentrated texture and weight, with excellent balance and expression enhanced by two years in bottle prior to release.

    Critical Acclaim:

The 2004 Dehesa la Granja offers similar but more expressive aromatics, is rounder and more supple on the palate, and has outstanding depth, concentration, and length. It is more forward than the 2003 but should offer a similar drinking window. It will be at its best from 2010-2020.

This is one of my favorites wines. Generally, i like all the wines of the winery Alejandro Fernandez, but this, is in the ratio price-quality, the best option

My boyfriend and I had a bottle of this wine at a restaurant in Portland Oregon. It was our first dinner date after reuniting via Facebook 23 years after the first time we met and dated in college! I bought 6 bottles for the significant anniversary events we have coming up in the next few months. We paid $60.00 for the bottle at the restaurant and only $19.79 at Wine.com! Thanks Wine.com for helping us to celebrate our happiness with this delicious bottle of wine!

I think RP overrated this wine. It is very earthy on the nose which I like, however, it has bitter tannins and finish. I am 86 on this effort.
