    Winemaker's Notes:

The Seleccion has an intense red color that borders to violet. Aromas of wild fruits and forest floor, black olives and spices. Full-bodied and concentrated with notes of cocoa, spice and fruits. Soft and long with well-balanced tannins.

    Critical Acclaim:

The 2009 Beso de Vino Seleccion is a blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Garnacha aged for 3 months in French oak. Black cherry and blueberry aromas lead to a dense, plush, savory wine which finishes with no hard edges. It is shockingly good for the money.

Grandes Vinos y Vinedos’ collection is replete with stunning values.

A book of verses, a bottle of Beso and my love besides me in the wilderness. I enjoyed the Beso tremendously. The wine was great! I'll order again.

Perhaps I have an off bottle, but this is somewhat bitter and sour. I'm dismayed by the 90 pt rating-maybe I'm missing something. But, as a wise old sage once said, I know what I like. And in this case, what I don't like.

I found this wine inconstant from glass to glass, even from the same bottle. It has flavors that give it potential, but I found it didn't hang together well and that different flavors dominated in different glasses. Lasted well in the bottle and was still drinkable after 2 days int he bottle. A good value, but try it before you buy a case. At a tasting it received very mixed reviews: some liked it, others didn't.
