    Winemaker's Notes:

At first swirl, Beeson Ranch Zinfandel appears to be a subtle wine with underlying dried floral and pepper elements. However, several minutes in the glass bring forward dramatic aromas of white pepper, cardamom and blackberry characters. On the palate, supple tannins mingle with dark cherry, blueberry and chocolate undertones. The finish is long and pure with expressive Zinfandel characters. A dramatic wine from special place.

    Critical Acclaim:

The vineyard is on winding, picturesque West Dry Creek Road, and is comprised of very old vines. In the wrong hands these low-yielding grapes might have been mis-handled, but Dry Creek Vineyard knows Zinfandel. The result is superb, spectacular, the essence of old vine Sonoma. Rich, dry and pure, it's enormously complex in briary, peppery wild berries, with a delicious edge of sweet raisins. Drink now for sheer deliciousness.

A classic Dry Creek zin. Paired wonderfully with some pizza and made for a great Friday night in. On a side note, this is a great vineyard to go tasting, and the cruising Dry Creek road in Sonoma makes for a wonderful day out.
