    Winemaker's Notes:

Made with full extraction and long skin contact, this wine is made to maximize body and weight while having long silky tannins. The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of ripe dark cherry and blackberry notes with mocha, clove and a hint of vanilla. This wine offers lush, juicy cherry and blueberry flavors. On the palate, sweet vanilla, clove, and a hint of cinnamon are brought forth by the nuances of French oak aging. Seamless with a nice long finish, this wine is very elegant with a fine structure.

    Critical Acclaim:

What a great wine for the price. It's made from various Napa mountain vineyards, and shows concentrated blackberry and black currant flavors, wrapped into superfine Napa tannins that go down with silky smoothness. Not cheap, but the price is a bargain compared to superexpensive Napa Cabs. At nearly 6,000 cases produced, it’s a steal.

I enjoy this bold Cab alot! They will get better with age, so I will drink a few more. The others have been appropriately stored.

2006... five years old and tasting great! This Cab displays drinkability now, and shows potential to cellar well for a few more years. I hope that the three bottle left in the cooler will make it past March!

This wine had a lot of promise with a 94 point rating. However, I was a bit disappointed. It is a good wine, but there seemed to be a bit of an overbearing alcohol flavor and not a lot of balance. I opened one bottle and didn't finish it; within 2 days it didn't keep well making me believe that this wine is near its end-of-life. So drink it now - don't cellar!

A great little Napa cab I picked up on sale for $25 & Free Shipping from WineShopper! Lacks complexity. Delicious now, but could use 2 or 3 more years in the bottle. A great go-to wine for everyday.

This was good, but it didn't live up to the expectations I had. It's a good wine at a very good price but I was expecting a little more from a 94 rating. Like many cabs, this wine has a dry finish, but I found this finish to be so dry as to border on harsh.

Does not deserve the 94 rating. Maybe 89. Acidy finish. There are a lot more great cabs for this price..
