    Winemaker's Notes:

Positively brimming with fruity aromatics and flavors, we find this wine (made from grapes from our certified organic estate vineyards) dominated by a mix of fresh crushed berries and dark cherries, shot through with a floral-spice element and a beet-root-meets-cola essence. The wine showcases the dark rich side of Pinot Noir and already has a supple smooth texture with clean acidity. We'd suggest roasts and grilled meats as accompaniments; barbeque shrimp with grits; pan-roasted salmon filets, etc!

    Critical Acclaim:

While the fruit flavors have ripened to dark cherry and currants, there's still a transparency to the wine, a rosy briskness that lightens the richness. The sandy tannins have a dark, cola-like tone. For roast duck.

Elegance and finesse. This wine has so much personality that words cannot provide justice. Beautiful color, fruit-forward with a smooth, silky texture. Truly an amazing wine!

This wine is by for the best pinot that I have ever tasted. The flavor is full of fruit, and goes down velvety smooth. The end is strong as a great pinot should be. No acid, just rich aroma and flavor. The best pinot any price.
