    Winemaker's Notes:

The Lucky Country Chardonnay comes from Barossa Valley, which is the largest fine wine producing region in Australia. It has some of the oldest vines in the world planted on their own rootstock dating back to the nineteenth century.

A lifted bouquet of lemon zest, melon, sherbet, pineapple, peach and musk. The palate starts out quite creamy with a lovely mouth-watering appeal. The soft acid is bountiful and gives the palate a lovely citrus lemon burst that powers the fruit effortlessly to a nice round and soft finish.

The Lucky Country started as a small project created by Michael Twelftree of the famed Two Hands Winery, for a select few clients.

    Critical Acclaim:

Light, bright yellow. Very fruity scents of melon, white peach, orange and candied lemon, along with a gentle spicy note. Juicy and expansive, with lively citrus and honeydew flavors and a touch of bitter pear skin. Finishes with good spicy bite and length, the orange note echoing. Nicely precise for an Australian chardonnay at this price point.

Not creamy as described. Seemed like just a bottle of wine gone bad, but both that I had tasted the same. Will not buy again.
