    Winemaker's Notes:

The 2010 Eroica Riesling exudes mandarin orange and sweet lime aromas and flavors with subtle mineral notes. The mouth-watering acidity is beautifully balanced by flavorful Washington Riesling fruit. After a more than a decade we have truly found our "Eroica style," striving for beautiful bright fruit with crisp acidity and enhanced mineralilty

    Critical Acclaim:

Eroica has put on racing stripes for the 2010 - a lean vintage with scents of lime and lemon, revealing a mineral spine from the aroma straight through to the finish. After a day the structure lengthens a bit and the flavors relax into lemon from lime, but the wine still has plenty of drive. Built for the cellar.

Eroica has a proven ability to age; in fact it needs at least a half decade in the cellar to show its real strengths. Tight and packed with primary fruit flavors of lime and peach, this beautifully proportioned wine has perceptible sweetness but plenty of natural acidity. Lively and fresh today, but best given a few more years in the cellar. Cellar Selection

    Wine Enthusiast

The 2010 Eroica Riesling had just been bottled when I tasted it. It displays similar aromatics but with more elevated acidity, a characteristic of the vintage that provides considerable refreshment in the finish.

Light and appealing for its delicate pear and peach flavors, with hints of mineral and chalk, dancing lightly through the open-weave, off-dry finish.

Well balance with hints of orange and mineral. One of our favorites on a summer day. Spectacular with shellfish...if only we could find some good oysters in central PA! For the price, you can't go wrong.

Have you ever poured the first glass, smelled it and just started smiling? THIS IS THAT WINE. It's absolutely delicious. Not too dry, just enough sweetness to keep it interesting, and all the different notes are so complicated. It's as if Mozart composed this wine. So good.

Both bottles I purchased were musty. It's not worth my time and the shipping cost to return though...
