White pear and red apple fruit aromas, with a lovely spiciness. Fragrant marmalade and pear fruit flavors, with good tannin grip and structure on the finish.
The 2009 Viognier has a fine quite understated bouquet with touches of hazelnut, lime, almond and lemon curd with good definition. The palate is medium-bodied with a waxy texture, good acidity and just a touch of spice towards the finish. It is a good take on a capricious grape variety. Drink now-2013.
Pale yellow. Aromas of tropical fruits, peach nectar and brown spices. Just off-dry and chewy in the mouth, with a hint of spicy oak complicating the subtle peach and tropical fruit flavors. Offers nice life and lift but I'd still catch this one early for its lovely fruit.
