    Winemaker's Notes:

We've made Viognier from Talcott Vineyard for a number of years, and are very happy with the balance and varietal character the site offers. 2009 was a bit warmer than normal, with near average yields. I think of this wine as a "peach danish" in a glass: Sweet ripe peach, toasty creamy notes and beautifully soft and accessible. Light smoky and honeysuckle notes round out the aromas and flavors. Citrus takes a back seat to the stone fruits this vintage. This wine really reaches out to you in all regards: color, aroma, and palate.

    Critical Acclaim:

Sunny, just-cut peach aromas mark this vibrant viognier. On the palate there's tension between rich, almost creamy fruit and bright minerality, pushed along by a clean bolt of acidity. Serve with a bowl of glass noodles with crab.
