    Winemaker's Notes:

Concentrated aromas of dark stone fruits and toast burst from the glass. Classic Cabernet Sauvignon flavors of black cherries with subtle hints of baking spice dance across the palate, bolstered by fine, round tannins. This medium bodied wine is soft in mouth feel, yet long on fruit character and finish.

Recommended with tomato-basil bruschetta, eggplant parmesan, herb crusted prime rib, grilled beef steak or hearty venison stew.

    Critical Acclaim:

Polished, refined and appealing for its juicy currant and spicy oak flavors, which linger nicely.

This is a really good, everyday Cabernet. It pairs well with just about anything and is equally suited at a dinner party or a simple evening.

The Wine...14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon 2010...The Scene...Dinner at home. Wife and I tried the Chardonnay of 14 Hands and really liked it so the thinking was to try the red one so I placed the order, dinner on the table and opend the bottle and away we go. Very fragrant wine that I'm smelling through the nose and the taste was just right. Not too thin in the mouth and slight pepper taste on the the finish...I order another 14 Hands bottle, another red one and get a kick out of the name...Hot to Trot red blend.
