    Winemaker's Notes:

A deep red color leads to a bouquet of dark chocolate with a hint of blackcurrant. The palate is satisfyingly rich with a firm, long finish. A uniquely Australian blend. Shiraz provides layers of ripe plum and dark chocolate while the mint and blackcurrant of Cabernet Sauvignon combine to create a wine of great balance and flavor.

Beautifully complementary with steak, rare roast beef or mature cheddar.

    Critical Acclaim:

Light to medium red-purple; a more than adequate mouthful of flavour, homage to the '10 vintage, and to the first class handling in the winery of some pretty impressive grapes. There is nothing to be gained from cellaring it, although it won't fall over any time soon.

This blend of shiraz/cabernet goes well with any italian dish. Within in the first few seconds you will get a blend of berries and plums on the nose only to be followed by the typical peppery shiraz finish. I paid $8.49 at my local liquor store for this wine. Based on taste alone, I would only give it 4 stars, but considering the price, this is definetly a great every day table wine...therefore I give it 5 stars.

This is not outstanding but a good house wine and very smooth and drinkable...well worth the $9.99 sale price with free shipping. Not great but good value. the blending gives it some depth.

Very nice and right for the money. More Cab than Shiraz feel but fantastic none the less. Very well done.

More cab than shiraz. Definitely a complex cab in lieu of the clarity and lightness we associate witha shiraz

I've been looking for a House Red. (Inexpensive but really tasty with red meat etc.) This is it for me.

Light. A little fruity. A hint of spice and blackberry. Great for the price. Definitely drinkable.

Definitely tasted the plumb but not the chocolate mentioned on the label, also not very strong. Good wine for the price.
