    Winemaker's Notes:

Every family has one. The wild one. The girl who zigs when everybody else zags…who likes skydiving better than square dancing…who has horse-trekked across Mongolia and played polo with the Prince…the sister who posts photos of herself on the yacht…the crazy, beautiful one who always keeps you on your toes. For those of you who know and love a wild one, this spicy and delicious red wine may just inspire you to break some rules. Maybe even pair red wine with fish!

Also yummy with barbecued beef ribs, spicy chili, grilled lamb kabobs.

Had a wine tasting with friends last night, and this was hands down the favorite. Even for our friends who like white, and who have never had malbec. Very smooth, full-bodied and not too sweet or spicy. I'm back to order more.

Good quality elastomer stopper. Saturated garnet-ruby color, jewel-like clarity, medium body, leggy. Medium sized nose, has some of the vinous traits of Italian Valpolicella and the berry aromas of California Zinfandel with faint grace note of wood and roses. Very fruity with enough acid to carry it (provided you're a fruit fiend), a nice bit of tannin, a bit too much alcohol on the palate. It could hold a few years - or not as it is very drinkable now. Very pleasant and friendly though there are many such wines available at lower prices. I can't say it exemplifies Malbec as a variety.
