    Winemaker's Notes:

A serious yet easy-drinking red blend, loaded with deep black cherry and brambly blackberry fruit flavors, surrounded by cocoa powder, fresh tobacco and black spice accents. Juicy, lush and round mouthfeel with soft tannins supporting generous fruit. The long finish is full of dense berry and cocoa. A rich, fruit-forward wine intended to be enjoyed within five years of vintage.

Blend: 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 6% Zinfandel, 3% Syrah, 3% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec

    Critical Acclaim:

Sily texture and bright, spicy flavors of plum, cassis and tangy acidity; savory, rich and supple with style, depth and lots of charm

Great wine from the historic and fabulous Gun Bun! Fruit forward with structure - A serious wine and an unbelievable value!

very much enjoyed this wine. A little thin to start but opens up nice after 30 minutes in the glass. Very nice nose, soft tannins and a medium finish. Somewhere between a merlot and cab. Second and third pours on consecutive days show this wine holds up under vacuum. Will buy again.

Nice easy everyday red, but I like their merlot better.

A good wine with some depth and finish, but seriously overrated. Perhaps an 87. Not worth the price paid.
