    Winemaker's Notes:

A refined wine, well appreciated in the whole world. Joseph Drouhin Meursault is a beautiful golden color and a great aromatic palate: honey, linden flower ("tilleul"), hazelnut butter, sometimes even chamomile or hawthorn. On the palate, a silky roundness. Long on the aftertaste, with flavors of yellow plum and gingerbread. Made with 100% Chardonnay grapes.

    Critical Acclaim:

The 2010 Meursault is a pretty, up-front wine with good village character and fine overall balance. A gentle hint of oak frames the white stone fruits on the inviting finish. This is a relatively soft, open wine for the year that will drink well upon release. The Meursault is the most refined of Drouhin's village level offerings.

    The Wine Advocate

Pale, bright yellow. Fresh aromas of apple, pear and spices. Juicy, supple and lively, with good spicy penetration giving the mid-palate a cool quality. Finishes fresh and persistent, with good cut.
