    Winemaker's Notes:

This Pinot Noir begins with aromas of cherry, strawberry and vanilla. It is supple and complex, with dark fruit flavors and a round mouthfeel alongside smooth tannins. The finish is nice and long, with lingering flavors of dark raspeberry and blackberry.

    Critical Acclaim:

The 2009 Pinot Noir Grand Firepeak Cuvee is a very pretty wine that expresses freshness and vibrancy above all else. Sweet red berries, flowers and spices meld together nicely in this medium-bodied, finessed Pinot. The 2009 will appeal most to readers who appreciate a lithe, mineral-driven style of Pinot. I especially like the tension and energy of the finish. This is very much a wine for the dinner table. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.

Great value for a big bold Pinot. Raspberry and dark cherry.

Very sharp and distinct. Not smooth and subtle. As a change of pace, I like it.

A good one. Not lush but very enjoyable. If you are used to expensive Pinot you will find this 'thin' but it has a good berries and a decent finish.
