    Winemaker's Notes:

A sexy pink color with lively hues. The nose combines aromas of ripe blood-orange, cherry-drops and black currant cordial with fragrant sandalwood whiffs. The gorgeously weighted palate balances juicy fruit flavours with racy acidity and finishes on a pleasantly persistant, zesty note.

Serve well chilled. An excellent aperitif or picnic wine. The ideal summer salad wine. Serve with fresh, seared tuna steaks; veal limone; poached salmon; asparagus quiche; cold crayfish salad; vegetable spring rolls dipped in soy sauce; ideal with sushi and other Japanese delights.

    Critical Acclaim:

Pale, bright watermelon-pink. Expressive aromas and flavors of red berries, flowers and spices. Nicely concentrated, fruit-driven rose with a touch of residual sugar countered by bright acidity. Offers good texture and gulpability. Not particularly complex but finishes with a subtle fruit sweetness.

Fruity, crisp, and slightly sweet great for social gathering. Not too dry, for those palettes that prefer a more casual wine.

Never really enjoyed a rose until this wine. It is substantial enough to hold it's own with food.

Great value rose, comes close to a Tavel. Has become a favorite (very consistent year to year) in our house.

Total loss. This wine is sold as a "rose"??? What you get is a pink Cabernet Savignon that is neither a Cab or Rose
