    Winemaker's Notes:

Meiomi (May-oh-mee) is a Pinot Noir that gets its fruit from the most noteworthy coastal areas in California. The wine is crafted, lush, balanced and luxurious. Three of the California's most sought after coastal growing regions brilliantly meld together in this deeply flavored, stylish and truly balanced Pinot Noir; at its most fundamental core, it is an approachable, food friendly wine with a style and place all its own.

Deep, rich garnet color. The wine opens up with aromas of ripe berries, fresh cranberry, candy apple and malted vanilla, some of which carries through to the palate. There's a hint of Granny Smith apple on first sip that beautifully balances out the rich cream soda and cherry cola notes. It is an extremely layered wine, both in structure and flavor, with a slight earthiness and sweet oak on the finish. The wine almost contradicts itself, managing to display freshness and maturity all at the same time, which is achieved through careful blending.

Fruity, delicious, very drinkable. Dark berry flavors, smooth finish. I'm ordering more.

We have been sampling many Pinot Noirs from CA and OR over the past year and this one really stands out. Willamette Valley beware!

Great tasting Pinot for a cab lover who does not like the really fruity, flowery taste of most Pinot's! Makes it easy to have one bottle for both spouses! Great price as well!

This wine is very smooth, but I thought it was rather bland. It is interesting to see so many personal reviews lauding its flavor. One review even said it is too bold. I have to agree with the reviewer who said it lacked flavor. 2 1/2 stars.

Huge disappointment!!! 2011 Meiomi was my absolute favorite wine. It had such a delightful, unique flavor. 2012; not so much.... it has lost it's specialness and is now just an ordinary red wine. Booooooo. I want my old Meiomi back!

I have tried this wine numerous times hoping the fanfare was right. But each time I drink it I swear I'm drinking a syrah. So big, I can't even imagine it is a Pinot. Not a bad wine, but awful if you think your getting ready to enjoy a great Pinot. I would not buy again, no matter how inexpensive. True pinot loves couldn't possibly like this wine.

A rich balance of cherry and ripe berries . Smooth on the palate with more depth than most Pinots . I loved it ...by far the best Pinot I have ever enjoyed.

This is one of our favorite everyday wines. With tasty flavors of berries and vanilla.
