Kionas Washington Cabernet Sauvignon is produced by blending from selected vineyards emphasizing good fruit and supple structure. Utilizing entirely free-run juice the wine is often blended with Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
The Washington Cabernet Sauvignon is taken through a complete malo-lactic fermentation to improve complexity and richness and aged in French and American Oak for approximately 18 months. It is deeply colored, contains moderate to high fine grained, well integrated tannins and has potential to age well.
