    Winemaker's Notes:

    Production Area
The "Domaine de Salente" is an old property of 38 hectares (100 acres) situated 25 miles from Montpellier in the Languedoc region. Jean-Luc Colombo has been the consulting oenologist of the domaine since 1988, the first to plant Viognier in the area.

Grape Varieties 100% Viognier, low yields of about 35hl/hectare (15hl/acre).

Vinification All the grapes come from 45 year-old vines. 30% of the wine is matured in one and two-year-old barrels; 70% in stainless steel tanks.

    Color Brilliant, light straw.

Bouquet The nose offers intense aromas of acacia, yellow peaches and exotic fruits.

Taste Very elegant and harmonious, its freshness allows the fruit to fully develop.

Serving Suggestions A seductive wine to be enjoyed with appetizers and hors d'oeuvres.
