    Winemaker's Notes:

"An outstanding effort, the 2003 Marsanne tastes like a white Hermitage from a domaine such as J. L. Chave. Its light gold hue is accompanied by aromas of flowers, crushed rocks, licorice, and quince. A layered, full-bodied palate possesses surprising power and potency. This big, textured white may not age like a Hermitage, but it should provide immense pleasure over the next 3-4 years."
    -Wine Advocate

The Marsanne grape originates from the Hermitage appellation of the Northern Rhône Valley of France, known for producing majestic white wines. In the Dry Creek Valley, Marsanne has found the perfect new terroir, producing wines with the same characteristics yet even more flamboyant and exotic.

The floral bouquet is intertwined with hazelnut and stony peach-like aromas with hints of orange blossom and tangerine. The palate is extremely rich and layered with vibrant peaches, roasted almonds and honeysuckle.

The perfect companion to shellfish, pasta in cream sauces, or as an aperitif.
