    Description:

Take a tour through France and discover three great wines from the Old World – a Pinot Noir, a Bordeaux, and a Rhône Blend. Each wine is chosen to display the unique characteristics of the region it represents: a fruity yet spicy Bouchard Aîné & Fils Pinot Noir from the south of France, a bold Bordeaux from Château Les Graves de Barrau, and a spicy Grenache and Syrah blend from Louis Bernard in the Côtes-du-Rhône. Passport not required.

    Wine Set Includes:
    • Bordeaux Red: Château Les Graves de Barrau
Displaying dark ruby colors, with aromas of blackcurrant, cherry and just a hint of vanilla, this wine is medium-bodied with dark berry flavors, well-balanced tannins and a long, smooth finish.
    • Pinot Noir: Bouchard Aîné & Fils
This Pinot Noir delivers bright cherry fruits, sweet spice and a hint of oak. The soft and smooth finish brings you back for more.
    • Rhône Valley Blend: Louis Bernard Côtes-du-Rhône
Cherry red color with concentrated berries and cherries on the nose, this wine has ample fruit, with a gentle hint of oak. An excellent match for barbeque.
    • Printed insert that describes the featured wines

Due to the popularity of this gift, wines or vintages sometimes sell out. Should this happen, we will always substitute with the current vintage and wines with equal or greater value.

This didn't meet my expectations. First off I didn't receive the 2007 Cotes du Rhone, instead I received a 2011 Bourgogne pinot noir which I didn't care for at all! it was hard to drink, it tasted bitter to me. The Bordeaux was a very dry wine, good for turkey but not as flavorful as I had hoped. The only good thing about this for me was the 2012 Pinot Noir, It was so tasty, light, very easy to drink. My husband commented that it tasted like church wine and I have to agree. Only the 2012 Noir and the lightning fast shipping earned stars on this sale.
