    Winemaker's Notes:

This Shiraz is named after Dean and Lou Hewitson's two sons, Ned and Henry. The wine exhibits extraordinary elegance and finesse despite its youth. Beautiful lush and dense red and black fruits are in abundance. Hints of spice and pepper add to its appeal. The finish seems to last forever.

This is Barossa Shiraz at its finest. Drinking beautifully now, but will develop with time in bottle.

    Critical Acclaim:

A stylish, medium-bodied wine with excellent length and balance; fresh plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit flavours; fine tannins, subtle oak.

Smooth and round, with a mineral edge to the black fruit, licorice and green olive flavors, lingering on the polished, expressive finish. Best from 2010 through 2016.

I honestly think Yellowtail's Shiraz has much more distinct flavors (and FYI is half the price) than this wine by comparison to another Austrailian Shiraz. This wine was much more bitter and not very fruity as some other Shirazs I have tried in the past.
