    Winemaker's Notes:

Intense, powerful aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant and gooseberry, along with lifted notes of grapefruit, leap out of the glass.

A full, crisp and powerful wine with intense flavors of passionfruit and blackcurrant along with underlying gooseberry tones. Mouth-watering acidity and an intense mineral note are balanced by a full, yet elegant palate that leads to a long lingering finish.

    Critical Acclaim:

Oyster shell, wet stone, grass and grapefruit-lime flavors deliver very good concentration, with grass and fleshy guava fattening the finish. Drink now. 10,000 cases imported.

    The Wine Advocate

Very pale, green-tinged color. Pungently aromatic nose combines gooseberry, passion fruit, talc and bell pepper. Juicy, intensely flavored and pure but with a supple texture to the brisk grapefruit pith flavor. I like the wine's piquant sweet/sour balance and lively grapefruity acidity on the back. Began narrow but vibrant, but broadened out nicely with aeration without losing its shape or freshness.
