    Winemaker's Notes:

The color is deep red with a dense black center, and the nose gives tantalizing aromas of chocolate, black currants, with hints of nutmeg, cloves and star anise. It is a beautifully rich Cabernet with superb depth of seamless fruit. A supple wine, it is lively and inviting and finishes satisfyingly firm. A wonderful drop, indeed.

This wine is a superb accompaniment for beef, rich game dishes or a good cheddar cheese and will continue to age gracefully for another 5 years of careful cellaring.

    Critical Acclaim:

Rich and ripe, with great depth and fruit weight; a little bit of heat comes through on the finish, and a lick of oak, but the fruit handles these elements with aplomb.

Surprise to found an unexpensive Cab with deep color and very mature presentation, specially if let breath for 30 min or so.
