    Winemaker's Notes:

This is a glittering deep red wine, with purple tinges. It offers fruity aromas, resembling cherries and raspberries, and a subtle vanilla scent coming from barrel aging. A spicy, intense and sweeping wine, easy to drink, but yet with a long persistent finish. Tannins are mild and round. This wine is ready to be enjoyed. Ideally paired with red meat, pasta with tomato sauce and cheese.

    Blend: 55% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 5% Tannat, 5% Bonarda

    Critical Acclaim:

Exotic, but pure, with delicious fig, currant paste, hoisin sauce and spiced hot chocolate notes. Long finish has nicely buried acidity, delivering lingering graphite and mineral hints. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tannat and Bonarda.

I"m no expert. I've never reviewed a wine before. I just think it was a very good wine. Spicy and fruity at the same time.

A complex wine with a pleasant after taste. Enjoyable as a before dinner wine as well as paired with any fine dining meal.

I prefer more full-bodied wines than this. That being said, I thought it wasn't bad and we drank the whole bottle. A good crowd-pleaser to bring to a friend's house, but not something I'd buy again for myself-I can find more complex and bolder wines in this price range.

Great as a party wine or for a dinner. I love the value of this wine so much that I've given a few as gifts. I should've kept it for myself though. :-)

Not a wine advocate nor a spectator. Just really enjoy wine. So no special technical words. This is just an exceptional wine value. Drink and enjoy.

This was sent as a monthly selection and I just opened it tonight. I will be buying this wine again. Excellent nose and flavors. Great blend

Deep purple in color, the Amalaya is half Malbec and quarter Cabernet Sauvignon, making it a medium-bodied and dry red. With a fruity and slightly spicy aroma, it is smooth and very drinkable with mild acidity and earthiness. It's still good the next day given a vacuum seal.

First time I've had a disappointment in WS 88 and above under $15.
