    Winemaker's Notes:

Ménage à Trois red brings together three strange bedfellows: Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. To add complexity and retain character, each variety was fermented separately, then blended together prior to bottling. On top we've got Zinfandel, a saucy tease that brings blackberry and raspberry jam to the relationship. Merlot, with its generous mouth feel and red fruits, fits perfectly in the middle. The rich flavors and firm tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon make it the ideal candidate for the bottom layer of the trio.

Our 2008 Ménage à Trois exposes the fresh, ripe, jam like fruit that is the calling card of California wine. Forward, silky and soft, this delicious dalliance makes the perfect accompaniment for grilled meats or chicken.

I wasn't a devotee of wine until this year when my Mom turned me onto this wine. A great wine to sit down with of an evening. I buy a case at a time and the price is amazing!

Excellent wine particularly given the price. If tasted blindfolded, one would never know that this wine sells for less than $12.00 a bottle. I buy it by the case and often.

The reason this get 4 stars is the value. For $10 a bottle it is my favorite red under $10. When I want to not think about wine but simply sit and enjoy a bottle I buy this. Jammy, mouthfilling, and not tannic.

The reason it gets 4 stars is the fruit for the $. When I am in the mood to not think about wine but just simply sit and enjoy I buy this. It is jammy, mouthfilling, not very tannic and overall just a good blend, especially for the price.

This blend is the best blend, maybe even best wine, I have found under $10. It can't compete with other blends $30 or above but for the price it doesn't need too! The taste can very from bottle to bottle so buy two before you pass judgment.

Don't let the price full you. it might be cheap but its an excelent wine. Open the bottle and let it breathe for 30 minutes. Very good wine for 10 dollars.

This wine doesn't have a sweet taste at all...which I didn't expect. I seemed to have got a slight buzz INSTANTLY from it. The taste is pretty bold. I liked it overall.
