Jumilla is an up-and-coming Spanish appellation southeast of Madrid. The vineyards and cellar are close to the regional park "El Carche" set in a beautiful natural surrounding. Jumilla is an area that produces several varieties with a specialization in Monastrell. A substantial investment in Jumilla area vineyards over the past 10 years, along with modern viticultural techniques, have made it one of the most exciting new wine making regions in Spain.

Winemaker William Long, successfully partnered with Guy Anderson, and this new collaboration promises to bring the best of Spanish wines to the forefront in America. William is an Englishman that has been making wine in Spain for 10 years. The climate is very different in Spain compared to England and when discussing this vintage he quoted the great Noel Coward saying: "it's so hot you need to be either mad or an Englishman to work here." For the label, William selected a friendly face from his boyhood in England with the picture of a Jack Russell terrier.
