Founded in 1548, Yoshinogawa is recognized as the first Kura (brewery) in Niigata Prefecture, famous for fine saké.
The marriage of traditional methods and modern technology allows the brewing team to maintain it’s focus on local ingredients and processes that keep every bottle of Yoshinogawa a definitive expression of place. Each style is differentiated by the Toji’s approach with yeast, rice, koji, and aging.
