Gatekeepers of the oldest vineyards in the vast Great Southern region at the bottom of Western Australia, Forest Hill has been going from strength to strength under the helm of the latest generation of talented winemakers and growers. This pale gold Riesling opens with a pretty bouquet of honey, orchard fruit, lavender and lemon verbena. The palate is bone-dry, with a chalky texture. Citrus and floral flavors abound, impaled by laser sharp acidity. Drink through 2030. Editors' Choice.
Riesling possesses a remarkable ability to reflect the character of wherever it is grown while still maintaining its identity. A regal variety of incredible purity and precision, this versatile grape can be just as enjoyable dry or sweet, young or old, still or sparkling and can age longer than nearly any other white variety.
