Winemaker Notes

Amarone, the exclusive symbol of Valpolicella Classica, is a highly structured, complex, elegant and velvety wine. It has an intense ruby red colour and a warm, spicy bouquet reminiscent of raisined fruit.

Critical Acclaim

WS 91
Wine Spectator

A firm, fresh red, with a smoky baseline and balanced flavors of black cherry, damson plum, violet, polished oak and spice. This is structured by bright acidity and chewy tannins that come to the fore on the finish. Best from 2013 through 2023.

WE 90
Wine Enthusiast

There's a touch of apple skin or citrus freshness here that gives this wine a bright, polished feel overall. In the mouth, however, this hearty Amarone delivers excellent structure, staying power and long-lasting red fruit flavors.
