The 2010 Austin Hope Syrah displays a deeply concentrated purple color with aromas of blueberry, cherry and hints of spice and wild herbs. Fresh, juicy berries, plum and red cherry emerge on the palate, balanced by notes of smoked meat and chocolate.

After years of farming Austin began to understand the importance of the vineyard to the wine. He immediately started replanting his family's vineyard on the west side of Paso Robles, in the Templeton Gap area with four different clones of Syrah from France.
