A richly fruity and rather deeply colored wine, this vintage reveals the hallmark ripe blackberry-anise, plum and coffee flavors and aromas typical of fruit harvested at peak ripeness. The flavors are full and fleshy, revealing an opulent texture combined with ripe and supple tannins. Drinkable now, this will actually benefit from a couple of years in the bottle! Great with all manner of meat and poultry dishes, but especially grilled ones.
