Winemaker Notes

Aromas of blackberry, cassis and sarsaparilla are complemented by spice notes. A note of sweet mint leads into a ripe fruit core full of blackberry and currant flavors. A pleasing finish accents the full body and smooth tannins.

Critical Acclaim

RP 89
The Wine Advocate

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a plush, generous wine bursting with dark red and black fruit, sweet spices and licorice. Layers of fruit build towards the generous, enveloping finish. In 2009 the main vineyards winemaker Laurie Hook used for this blend were Home in St. Helena, and Bancroft Ranch and Steinhauer on Howell Mountain.
