Critical Acclaim

RP 91
The Wine Advocate

The fruit for the 2006 Cadus Malbec was sourced from Lujan de Cuyo and Alto Agrelo with the wine spending 24 months in new French oak. It offers up a classy nose of pain grille, pencil lead, Asian spices, incense, lavender, espresso, and black cherry. On the palate it is elegant with some underlying structure, excellent volume, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It will be at its best from 2013 to 2021.
