Winemaker Notes

Brilliant, crystal-clear, white yellow color with green tints. A fresh wine with intense floral and fruity bouquet dominated by aromas of white rose, melon and citrus. A well-balanced fresh wine, with intense flavor and long aromatic aftertaste (orange blossom, grapefruit).

The Wine Advocate

The 2009 MOSCHOFILERO is an appealing release in its youth, surprisingly weighty and a little unctuous in texture. On opening, this is deliciously fruity and rich, relative to the grape and region. With air and warmth, some minerality comes through, the aromatics become quite prominent and the acidity pokes up, too. This is quite delightful. It comes in at just 11.5% alcohol, making it a perfect summer sipper this year, but it does have the concentration to hold up to some food matchups and be more than that, too. While it may hold a little longer, you should drink it this year to maximize its best features, the younger the better. Drink now-2012.
