Winemaker Notes
The 2018 Sauvignon Gris is a crisp, refreshing white to drink now and over the next year or two. Intensely perfumed, with bright lime, sage and floral flavors, the 2016 is long on character. The Sauvignon Gris is done in a very slightly off dry style that is quite inviting.

The 2018 Sauvignon Gris Los Olivos District is a more serious wine, offering impressive crushed citrus, white flowers, and obvious minerality notes. It's juicy and medium-bodied, with notable purity and outstanding length.
There are hundreds of white grape varieties grown throughout the world. Some are indigenous specialties capable of producing excellent single varietal wines. Each has its own distinct viticultural characteristics, as well as aroma and flavor profiles.
Today it is an integral part of the greater Santa Barbara County wine region, but at one time the village, Los Olivos, was a stop on the Wells Fargo stagecoach line.
