Carabella Pinot Gris 2000
Pinot Gris/Grigio from Willamette Valley, Oregon
The pinot gris is made in an Oregon style with 3/4 fermented in stainless steel, 1/4 in neutral oak to add creaminess. The 2000 is now on a number of by the glass restaurant wine lists and in fine wine shops in Oregon and in Colorado.The 2000 has a delightful floral bouquet. It is flavorful enough to be an outstanding match with crab.

General Partner and Winemaker Mike Hallock began searching for an exceptional vineyard site on which to base Carabella Wines in the early 1980s. Initially it involved sampling many vintages of Pinot Noir sourced from single vineyards in the Willamette Valley. (An exhausting job, but someone has to do it!)
