I love the intense aromas and flavors of black fruit, licorice and smoke, but there are underlying notes of blueberries, citrus and cloves, too. This concentrated and polished red has a lot of charisma. Full body, ripe and intense tannins and a long, driving finish. From organically grown grapes.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The Casaloste 2015 Inversus is 90% Merlot with a small component of Sangiovese. The estate is located in Panzano in Chianti where wines are known for their distinct freshness and clarity of aromas. This is a mid-weight expression that boasts dark and rich color saturation. The wine offers robust aromas of black fruit, spice and sweet tobacco. You do recognize the Merlot when just considering the bouquet. However, the mouthfeel reflects the wine's Sangiovese side with bright acidity and a snappy, crisp finish. Some 4,000 bottles were made.
Legendary in Italy for its Renaissance art and striking landscape, Tuscany is also home to many of the country’s best red wines. Sangiovese reigns supreme here, as either the single varietal, or a dominant player, in almost all of Tuscany’s best.
A remarkable Chianti, named for its region of origin, will have a bright acidity, supple tannins and plenty of cherry fruit character. From the hills and valleys surrounding the medieval village of Montalcino, come the distinguished and age-worthy wines based on Brunello (Sangiovese). Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
