Winemaker Notes

Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge is a great introduction to one of the world's most celebrated wine appellations: the Côtes-du-Rhône region. This wine is garnet red in color. On the nose, aromas of red fruits, mainly morello cherries, and spices, like licorice and grey pepper. This wine has a great structure with firm and silky tannins.

This coats the mouth in a robe of purple flavor, velvety and dark. There's a hint of mint to enliven it. A hedonistic, by-the-glass pour. Best Buy.

fresh, racy style, showing textbook red currant, cherry and plum flavors, laced with lavender and hot stone notes that keep the finish nicely grippy and focused.

The dark ruby-colored 2010 Cotes du Rhone Belleruche (primarily Grenache) exhibits delicious red and black currant fruit with sweet cherries in the background. It possesses a nice crunchiness as well as good focus and precision because of the vintage's acidity and freshness.
