This has a wide velvety texture with medium to full body and beautiful dark fruit in the middle. Ripe but crunchy with well integrated velvety tannins. Lingering and textural at the end. One of the best from here.

Vinous
The 2022 Dalem is a gorgeous, sensual wine. Sweet red/purplish berry fruit, lavender, rose petal, mint and spice abound in a Fronsac that impresses with its energy and nuance. Dalem is once again terrific in 2022.–Antonio Galloni

Jeb Dunnuck
I loved the 2022 Château Dalem, and this château offers some serious bang for the buck. Cassis, plums, black cherries, and leafy herbs, as well as some spicy oak, all emerge on the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a round, supple mouthfeel and outstanding length.

Decanter
Bright and lively, a little raw and high toned but settles with a mineral grip to the fine tannins and lots of cool blueberry fruit and chalky, stone touches. Lively, succulent and fun, a little tense and straight still, not yet widening, but this has purity and definition and will be easy to drink.

The house at Dalem of the style of 18th century is well located only separated from the Saint Emilion slopes by the county town of Libourne and the Pomerol vineyard
The vineyard has grown over the centuries. It is oriented to the south and south-west and benefits from a maximum of sunshine. Being up on the hills, the wines are protected from frosts.
The DALEM Vineyard was founded in 1610 and stayed in the same family for more than three centuries. As a result of divisions between inheritors, the wineyard and the house were sold to Michel Rullier in 1955.
Like his predecessors, Michel Rullier has attached the greatest importance to improving the quality of this wine.
In association with oenology and tradition since 2002 his daughter Brigitte at her’s turn strives the veneyard of 15 hectares to give a wine issued of great expression combining at same time powerful with finesse. In 2015 she expanded the vineyard by 11 hectares and 10 additional hectares in 2018.
