Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The cumulative rainfall at Château Fieuzal was only 385 millimeters in 2022, compared to 753 millimeters in 2021 and 743 millimeters in 2020. But this did not prevent Stephen Carrier and his team from making a fresh and energetic 2022 de Fieuzal, bursting with aromas of violet, iris, menthol and crunchy wild berries mingled with hints of coniferous forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, it's pristinely balanced and beautifully layered, exhibiting a vibrant palate that's deep, tensile and elegant, concluding with a mouthwateringly mineral finish. This estate is achieving things no one would have thought possible a decade ago.

A crunchy and energetic wine from here this year with black berry, black cherry and crushed stone character. Medium-bodied with lively acidity and a fine tannin background.

Jeb Dunnuck
The 2022 Château De Fieuzal is brilliant, and this estate deserves more attention in the market today. Ripe red and black fruits, spring flowers, leafy tobacco, and loamy earth all emerge on the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a supple, layered, elegant mouthfeel and a great finish. I love its overall balance, and this could be a real superstar in the vintage.

Located in the heart of the Graves, the cradle of Bordeaux winemaking, Chateau de Fieuzal takes its name from the family to which it belonged until 1851. This Graves great growth, now owned by Brenda and Lochlann Quinn, is famous for its elegant white wines and opulent red wines.
Great care is taken to make the most of Chateau de Fieuzal's terrior in order to produce excellent wines as well as to protect the remarkably diverse natual environment. In keeping with demanding French standards of luxury craftsmanship, all work in the vinyeard and cellar is done both meticulously and traditionally. The vines are looked after on an individual basis and closely followed in order to obtain fruit that reflects the excellence of this unique terroir.
