James Suckling
Fabulous aromas of crushed blueberries and minerals with flowers follow through to a full body, with solid fruit and tannin structure and a long, long finish. Very intense. Better than 2009. Try in 2017.

Wine Spectator
This delivers the profile of the vintage, with spice-infused raspberry, boysenberry and blackberry fruit coursing along nicely, followed by delineated anise and spice notes, all carried by a racy graphite spine. Rock-solid and nicely balanced, this should age elegantly. Best from 2014 through 2024.

Wine Enthusiast
A balanced and structured wine that shows fine acidity, berry fruits and dashing acidity. With the balance already there, it is developing well in barrel, promising a stylish wine down the road. Barrel Sample:89-91 Points
