Winemaker Notes

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc from our Horse Heaven Vineyard is a restrained, elegant and delicate Sauvignon Blanc as an expression of the cooler vintage. We used partial stainless steel fermentation to preserve the Sauvignon Blanc's clean, pure, vibrant character and fresh, crisp quality.

This wine pairs nicely with various foods, herbs and spices, such as mussels, halibut, chicken, cilantro, oregano, rosemary, cumin, curry and ginger.

Critical Acclaim

RP 90
The Wine Advocate

The 2010 Sauvignon Blanc Horse Heaven Vineyard (100% Sauvignon Blanc) was 30% barrel-fermented. Fresh herbs, cut grass, citrus, and a hint of gooseberry inform the nose of a crisp, refreshing, impeccably balanced Sauvignon that is an outstanding value meant for drinking over the next 2-3 years.
