Blend: 60% Grenache, 20% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne
Light gold. Peach, pear and honey on the nose, along with a powerful vanilla quality. Broad and fleshy but dry, offering warm pit fruit, vanilla bean and spice flavors that show a slightly bitter edge. The smooth finish shows good cling and a lingering peach note.
Thierry and Véronique Boudinaud own Vignobles Boudinaud, located in the tiny commune of Fournès, on the right bank of the Rhône River. They also own Domaine Grange des Rouquette.
