The 1999 version of the wine is finished in a sweet style with moderate acidity. 25% Muscat Canelli is blended in to enhance the natural fruitiness of the wine. There is a hint of herbaceousness in the nose, but the spice and lychee aromas come through clean on the palate. This is the perfect wine to quaff ice cold on the patio on a sunny summer afternoon. It is made with early consumption in mind, and should be drunk while young.
